Cummins had net income of nearly $2.3 billion and revenues of $23.6 billion in 2019. Our Cummins diesel engines are mainly from two joint ventures: Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. (DCEC) & Chongqing Cummins Engine Company, Ltd (CCEC). DCEC was established in June 1996 and is located in the High-tech Industry Development Zone of Xiangyang, Hubei Province. It is a 50/50 joint venture between Cummins Inc. and Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. With registered capital of over 100 million US dollars, land area of 270,000 square meters, and 2,200 employees, DCEC mainly manufactures Cummins designed medium and heavy-duty engines, which include B, C & L series, covering displacement of 3.9L, 4.5L, 5.9L, 6.7L, 8.3L, 8.9L, 9.5L and 13L and power ranging from 20kw to 200kw, which are widely used in generator sets. CCEC was established in October,1995 and is located in Chongqing, and was a 50/50 joint venture between Cummins Inc. & Chongqing Machinery & Electric Co., Ltd. With more than 1,400 existing staff, CCEC mainly produces Cummins N, M & K series of diesel engines. The power range is from 200 kw to 1343 kw. Every generator set is subject to a comprehensive test program which includes full load testing, checking and provision of all control and safety shut down functions testing.
