The AS440 is an analogue, 2-phase sensing, self-excited automatic voltage regulator (AVR). The AS440 incorporates Surface Mount Technology (SMT) to its design.
The AS440 is supplied as standard to the STAMFORD® S4 and STAMFORD® HC5 alternators and is an option for the STAMFORD® UC22 and UC27 alternators.

The AS440 is an analogue, 2-phase sensing, self-excited automatic voltage regulator (AVR). The AS440 incorporates Surface Mount Technology (SMT) to its design.

NOTES

1) De-rate by 12% if mounted in 'portrait' orientation. 

2) With 4% engine governing. 

3) After 2 minutes.

5) Factory set, semi-sealed, jumper selectable. 

6) Any device connected to the analogue input must be fully floating (galvanically isolated from ground), with an insulation strength of 500V ac. 

7) De-rate output current by 5% per degree C above 60C.
