The sets feature high voltage regulation accuracy, good dynamic performance, small voltage wave distortion, high efficiency, reliable operation, long service life and good fuel economy. With a maintenance-free battery starting system, the generating sets can be started to generate electric power just by pouring oil and coolant and turning on the negative switch, greatly improving the convenience of use. The E series engine is jointly designed by SDEC and AVL of Austria. It is a brand new engine platform developed by referring to the current international-advanced engine application technologies and made with world-class equipment and according to the SAIC MOTOR manufacturing standards. The engine has two fuel systems for option: electronically controlled high-pressure common rail fuel system and mechanical fuel system with electronic governor.

The SC27G engine’s stroke is extended to 155 mm. Most parts of the G series V-type engine are interchangeable with those of the 12V135 diesel engine. It is made in accordance with the SAIC MOTOR manufacturing standards.
